When in September 2008 Angelina Shvachka sang Carmen at the Norwegian National Opera in Oslo, critics wrote:“A Pearl Carmen! …Carmen, extraordinary sung and acted by Anzhelina Shvachka should be shown at the best stages of the World. It was beautiful and great! In January 2008 Anzhelina Shvachka made her Canadian debut with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. The newspaper “Le Devoir” wrote: "... Angelina Shvachka was a pleasant surprise for us with her brilliant mezzo, which was voluminous and magnificentlyunique!" (Fransois Tousignant)
