Soprano Csilla Boross’ most recent and notable performances include Nabucco (Abigaille) at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma with Riccardo Muti, which was broadcast on live television throughout Europe on ARTE. She was also chosen by Maestro Muti to perform in the gala performance celebrating the 150th anniversary of Italy. Ms. Boross made another important Italian debut this season with appearances as Violetta in La Traviata at the Teatro Verdi di Trieste as well as her USA debut as Abigaille in Verdi's Nabucco with Palm Beach Opera and as Lady Macbeth at the Teatro Comunale di Modena Luciano Pavarotti. Ms. Boross was heard at the National Theater Prague as Fiordiligi, Elettra and Donna Anna and at the Janacek Theater Brno in a new production of Eugene Onegin (Tatiana),Aida, Madama Butterfly (Cio-Cio San), Macbeth (Lady Macbeth) and revivals of Nabucco, La Traviata (Violetta) andTosca. Ms. Boross is the 2009 recipient of the prestigious Czech Television’s THALIA Prize for her appearance in Brno as Cio-Cio San in Puccini's Madama Butterfly.

Ms. Boross is also the 2009 recipient of the DIVA Prize for the best woman soloist of the Janácek Theater Brno given by the audience.

Roles in Brno last season included Lady Macbeth (Verdi’s Macbeth), Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Madama Butterfly (new productions) and Violetta (Traviata), Aida and Abigaille (Nabucco).

Other recent performances include Mimi at the Gut Immling Festivalin the summer of 2009. In 2010 Ms Boross was heard as Fiordiligi, and Elettra (Idomeneo) at the National Theater in Prague and as Aida in a new production in Brno and as Tosca in Smetana Litomysl International Opera Festival and as Abigaille (Loket Cultural Summer, Thurn und Taxis Opera Festival Regensburg)) .

In the 2008/2009 season Ms. Boross was heard as Aida, (Loket Cultural Summer National Theatre Praha), Tosca (Szeged National Theater, State Opera Prague, Janácek Theatre Brno), Violetta in Tosca (Brno), Donna Anna (Estates Theater Prague), Tatiana (Brno), Venus (Japan, Janácek Theatre Brno, Hungarian State Opera), and Lady Macbeth (Brno).

Upcoming performances include Manon Lescaut at the Opera National de Montpellier directed by Jean-Paul Scarpitta, Tosca in Rome Caracalla , Lady Macbeth at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, with Riccardo Muti, Nabucco (Abigaille) at Washington National Opera and the Opera Company of Philadelphia.

Ms. Boross also performs on the concert platform on a regular basis and has an extensive repertoire.

"Dans le rôle titre enfin une heureuse découverte – en ce qui nous concerne – en la personne de Csilla Boross dont la voix de soprano lyrique ronde, souple et étendue va de pair avec une belle maîtrise technique, et dont l’interprétation colore le chant des nuances appropriées. Quelques accents légèrement trop appuyés, au dernier acte, ne suffisent pas à en ternir la lumière. "
