After completing with success his studies in piano and composition, he was selected and admitted to “Scuola dell'Opera Italiana” of Teatro Comunale di Bologna, a specialized opera center where he could specialize in professional Opera conducting and lyric vocality. He took part in several masterclasses (Bruno Bartoletti, Donato Renzetti, Gianandrea Noseda, Renato Palumbo, Riccardo Frizza, Nicola Luisotti, Piero Bellugi, Colin Metters, Jorma Panula, Vladimir Ponkin, Dejan Pavlov, Tamas Pàl, Eythan Pessen), receiving unanimous and convinced appreciations.
Despite his young age, he has already developed a wide symphonic activity, and he has conducted several orchestras, both in Italy and abroad: Fondazione del Teatro Verdi di Trieste, Fondazione Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Fondazione Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova, Fondazione Toscanini di Parma, Fondazione del Teatro di San Carlo di Napoli, Philharmonische Orchester der Hansestadt Lübeck, RTV Symphony Orchestra Ljubljana, Filarmonica Marchigiana, Orchestra Internazionale d’Italia, Orchestra Rossini di Pesaro, Orchestra Sinfonica Pescarese, Orchestra Sinfonica del Teatro F. Cilea di Reggio Calabria, Orchestra 1813, Moscow Symphony Orchestra, RNCM Northern College of Manchester Orchestra.

Recently he conducted Stabat Mater by G. B. Pergolesi during the Pergolesi's celebrations of Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, and Gianni di Parigi by G. Donizetti at the XXXVI Festival della Valle d'Itria di Martina Franca, with considerable and unanimous approvals both from the critics and the public.
In September 2010 he was at Festival Pergolesi in Jesi, where he conducted the first Italian performance of Pergolesi’s Servante Maitresse, directed by J. Deschamps, receiving excellent approvals from national critics.
His Cenerentola by G. Rossini in Circuito Lirico Lombardo and at Fondazione Toscanini of Piacenza was very impressive and obtained unanimous approvals from the most important national magazines (“L’Opera” and “Classic Voice”).
In June 2011 he conducted La Traviata in Cagliari and Madama Butterfly at Carlo Felice in Genoa, and in April 2011 he received great reviews from pubblic and critics for his performance of Mozart's Requiem with Orchestra del Teatro Filarmonico di Verona, and he made his official debut in Germany conducting Boito's Mefistofele in Lübeck.
His performance at the opening of Festival Valle d'Itria in 2011 was very impressive and his Rossini’s Aureliano in Palmira (with Franco Fagioli in the role of Arsaces) obtained unanimous support from the major Italian critics, so as the Gianni di Parigi he conducted at Wexford Festival (October 2011).
Most recently he conducted La traviata in Limoges and a cycle of symphonic concerts in Tel Aviv and at Teatro Filarmonico in Verona.
Next engagements include: La Traviata in Reims, Carmen, Traviata, Cavalleria rusticana, La Vida Breve, Turandot, Madama Butterfly and Rosenkavalier in Lübeck (Germany), La Cenerentola in Seattle, Zaira (by Bellini) in Martina Franca, Puritani in Jesi, symphonic concerts in Tel Aviv, Teatro Verdi Trieste, Bergamo Festival and Teatro Petruzzeli in Bari.
