Reviews

"In Rigoletto, Justina Gringyte was quite delicious as his (Sparafucile's) slutty sister. Perez, Meli and Gringyte sang with such power, they almost drowned Domingo's voice."

Placido Domingo Celebration, Royal Opera House. William Hartston - Express.co.uk

"The accompanying cast was excellent. Promising cameos came from ...Justina Gringyte (Maddalena), the latter having to sing gamely on while her unusually impetuous Duke seemed keen on test-driving his 'bargain' right there on the tavern table."

Roger Parker, OPERA

"Justina Gringyte's warm Maddalena."

Placido Domingo Celebration, Royal Opera House. George Hall - guardian.co.uk

"Justina Gringyte, a Young Artist, made much of Maddalena's seduction and subsequent anguish, with a strong, rich mezzo."

Placido Doming Celebration, Royal Opera House. recitative.wordpress.com

"Justina Gringyta (a most engaging Maddalena.)"

Placido Domingo Celebration, Royal Opera House. Anthony Craig - gramophone.co.uk

"...The Lithuanian mezzo Justina Gringyte invests the small role of Flora Bervoix with uncommon clarity and vocal sweetness."

La Traviata, Royal Opera House, London. -What's On Stage

"The small roles were all terrifically well sung, Justina Gringyte, a Jette Parker Young Artist, achieving the impossible in actually making the non-role of Flora noticeable."

La Traviata, Royal Opera House, London. The Tyro Theatre Critic

"The smaller roles. . .were also well sung, especially by Justina Gringyte (Flora)."

La Traviata, Royal Opera House, London. Michael Migliore, MusicalCriticism.com
