Singapore’s stunning Star Centre for the Performing Arts celebrates its grand opening this weekend with a three-day gala festival.

Visitors will be amongst the first to catch a glimpse of this brand new 5,000-seat concert venue that boasts of cutting edge performance spaces, hospitality areas, a multi-purpose hall, amphitheatre and supporting spaces for a variety of events.

17-time Grammy® winner David Foster kicks off the festival with 2nd and 3rd November performances of his HITMAN David Foster & Friends concert featuring 10-time Grammy® winners  Chaka Khan and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, International chart topping classical crossover singer Hayley Westenra, timeless favourite Paul Young, Swedish pop sensation Dirty Loops and rising star Fernando Varela.

On 3 November, Saturday, The Star PAC presents Family Day, an event for all from 10am to 4pm. Catch carnival attractions and performers the whole family will enjoy. Meet favourite Nickelodeon character including SpongeBob, Dora the Explorer and Singapore’s top family entertainers Toybox, Jack and Rai and many more.

The Star is excited to present this new iconic venue to Singapore and host of international promoters.
