Resorts World Sentosa Singapore appointed IMG Artists in May 2013 to conduct audience research and provide recommendations on artistic programming for their Festive Grand Theatre in order to maximise the financial viability of the theatre, create a ‘unique selling point’ for the theatre and broaden the awareness of the theatre in Singapore. The research was conducted over a three month period between June to August and over 7,000 respondents gave valuable feedback.

These results were analysed alongside other external studies and all these activities allowed IMG Artists and Resorts World Sentosa to gain a deeper understanding of the current issues and opportunities affecting the programming of the Festive Grand Theatre and also to identify the key main-stream arts and entertainment audience currently available in Singapore.
