Sopranos Alexandra Marcellier and Mélissa Petit kicked off a star-studded tour with Cecilia Bartoli in Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito on the 19 November in Martiny, Switzerland. In the 7-date tour around Europe’s prestigious concert halls, Marcellier makes her role debut as Vitellia, and Petit stars as Servilia. Tickets for the tour are available below.

Veronique Boudier from Olyrix wrote:

“The drama would not have taken place without Vitellia, a monster of selfishness who confuses love and politics. Dressed in a white suit with sequins, opulent brown hair, Alexandra Marcellier seizes this role with determination. The easy vocalizations and the breadth of the tessitura translate a woman sure of herself, dominating, ready to do anything to satisfy her ambition.”

“She (Mélissa Petit) embodies Servilia with her clear, nuanced and well-projected voice. The sharp melodic line of the soprano makes a woman both soft and determined, able to confront Titus with sincerity.”
