On Sunday, two of IMG Artists’ singers, soprano Chen Reiss and countertenor Jakub Jozef Orlinski, will take part in this year’s ‘Concert de Paris’. The celebrated annual event, marking the culmination of festivities on France’s National Day, will take place at the foot of the iconic Eiffel Tower on Sunday July 14, 2019 from 9:15 p.m. It will be followed by a spectacular firework display.
Reiss and Orlinski join a glittering cast of international soloists for the open-air concert on the Champ de Mars including Roberto Alagna, Aleksandra Kurzak, Khatia Buniatishvili, Gautier Capucon, Gaëlle Arquez, Xuefei Yang and Rene Pape, the choirs of Radio France and the Orchestre National de France, under the baton of conductor Alain Altinoglu. Orlinski will sing Vivaldi’s aria ‘Vedro con mio diletto’, from Il Giustino, while Reiss will join with tenor Christian Elsner to sing Bernstein’s famous ‘Tonight’ from West Side Story, as well as the Ode to Joy from Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
The concert will be produced by Electron Libre Productions (Lagardère Studios) and broadcast live on radio and television.
