Congratulations to Renée Fleming and Xian Zhang on their GRAMMY® Wins!

Congratulations to soprano Renée Fleming and conductor Xian Zhang on their wins at the 65th GRAMMY® Awards. The winners were announced on February 5, 2023 live from the Crypto Arena and streamed live on Grammys.com.

Capturing her 5th GRAMMY® Award, soprano Renée Fleming won in the Best Classical Solo Vocal Album category for her sumptuous album: Voice of Nature – The Anthropocene (Decca)

Xian Zhang‘s poignant and evocative recording Letters for The Future (Deutsche Grammophon), with Time for Three and The Philadelphia Orchestra, took home the awards in the Best Contemporary Classical Composition (specifically Kevin Puts’ Contact) and Best Classical Instrumental Solo categories.

We also congratulate James Robinson, who conceived and directed the production of Best Opera Recording winner, Blanchard: Fire Shut Up In My Bones, as well as its cast members Chris Kenney (who performed the role of Chester), Norman Garrett (who performed the roles of Foreman and Adult James) and Terrence Chin-Loy (who performed the roles of Chicken Plucker and Adult William) (Metropolitan Opera).
