Constantin Trinks conducts the premiere of Christof Loy’s production of Weber’s Euryanthe for Theater an der Wien on 12 December 2018, with performances which extend until the end of December. ORF Radio Symphonieorchester Wien is the pit band for this production, and Constantin Trinks will perform in concert with them at the end of April at the Brucknerhaus Linz, in a programme of Dvořák’s Biblical Songs with Vesselina Kasarova and Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances.
In 2019, Constantin Trinks returns to Bayerische Staatsoper for Strauss’ Arabella, which he first conducted for the company at the Opera Festival in Munich last summer, followed by performances of Die Entführung aus dem Serail in April 2019. Arabella appears not only in Munich, but is also performed in concert at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées on 11 January 2019.
This season, Constantin Trinks also makes his debut with Rome Opera with Lehár’s Die lustige Witwe for Rome Opera, conducts Bruckner’s Symphony No. 8 with the orchestra of Oslo Opera, and has engagements with both Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg and Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte Carlo.
