Conductor Francesco Lecce-Chong will make his Seattle Symphony debut on Thursday, June 17. He will conduct Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, “Pastoral”. The concert will be streamed live from 7:30 PM PT, and available on demand through June 24.
Mr. Lecce-Chong is Music Director of the Eugene and the Santa Rosa Symphonies, leading both orchestras to create original virtual programming this past season in response to the pandemic restrictions, including a series of concerts in artistic partnership with the Pulitzer Prize winner Ellen Taafe Zwillich. Last season, he debuted with the San Francisco Symphony and the New York Philharmonic and in 21/22, he will guest conduct subscription concerts with the Utah and the North Carolina Symphonies among others.
