IMG Artists Congratulates its Nominees for the 2021 OPUS Klassik Awards. The prestigious German award, presented by the Der Verein zur Förderung der Klassischen Musik e.V (The Association for the Promotion of Classical Music), celebrates recording musicians and creative teams in 25 categories. The winners will be awarded on 10 October, 2021 at Konzerthaus Berlin.

The Association for the Promotion of Classical Music was founded in 2018. The aim of the association is to promote classical music and, in particular, to reward its artists. The founding members reflect the broader anchoring of the award in the German classical music industry.

“Classical music in Germany has to be honoured with its own prize,” said Association Board Director Burkhard Glashoff. “We, the founding members, have set ourselves the goal of recognizing and honouring extraordinary achievements in classical music. We developed a concept for a new music award that is even broader than in the past and reflects the industry in all its diversity.”
