IMG Artists is delighted to welcome conductor Pablo González to its roster for General Management. Mr Gonzalez will be represented by SVP and Global Head of Artist Management Naomi Ives from the company’s London office.

Conductor Pablo González is inspiring orchestras and audiences around the world with his “eloquent narrative thrust, elegant phrasing and solid understanding” (El País). Born in Oviedo, Spain, Mr González studied at London’s Guildhall school of Music and Drama. He first captured international attention when he won the Donatella Flick and the Cadaqués International Conducting competitions. He has swiftly risen through the ranks to become Music Director of Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya from 2010 – 2015, having previously been Principal Guest Conductor of the Orchestra of the City of Granada and held Associate Conductor positions with both the London and Bournemouth symphony orchestras.

Pablo’s forthcoming guest conducting highlights include appearances with Gürzenich-Orchester Köln, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, The Hallé, Residentie Orkest, Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern, Orchestre National de Lille and Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana. Recent highlights include guest conducting engagements with Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Warsaw Philharmonic, Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège and Glyndebourne.
