IMG Artists is delighted to welcome bass Andreas Bauer Kanabas to its roster for North American management. He will be represented by Senior Vice President and Artist Manager Sam Snook from the company’s New York headquarters. Mr Bauer Kanabas’ general management is Boris Orlob Management.

Praised for his, “warm, deep bass sonority and natural humanity“ (The Daily Mail), Bauer Kanabas has starred in such varied repertoire as King Philip II/Don Carlo (in both Italian and the original French), the title role in Bartok’s Bluebeard’s Castle, Méphisto/Faust, Vodnik/Rusalka, Gremin/Yevgény Onégin, Claggart/Billy Budd, Da Silva/Ernani, Fiesco/Simon Boccanegra, Zaccaria/Nabucco, King Mark/Tristan und Isolde, Landgraf Hermann/Tannhäuser,  Commendatore/Don Giovanni, Osmin/Die Entführung aus dem Serail, and Escamillo/Carmen. Singing in eight languages, his large range, the the special timbre and the legato culture of his voluminous voice make him a basso cantante with great versatility.
