They write, “The sparky Anglo-Australian conductor is much in evidence in 2019, conducting the Royal Northern Sinfonia in a new Errollyn Wallen piece (January 17-20, touring), and then coming to the Linbury Theatre at the Royal Opera House in London to conduct the premiere of Gavin Higgins’s new opera, The Monstrous Child.”
