The Oliver Schnyder Trio celebrate their 10th anniversary together playing 7 concerts at Festival Musikdorf Ernen from 1-3 July. The programmes for the concerts include the works of Schubert, Piazzolla, Grieg, Saint-Saëns, Brahms, and many more. There will also be two world premieres – Massimiliano Matesic’s Trio for violin, cello and piano (2021), which is dedicated to the trio, and Stephanie Haensler’s Trio for violin, cello and piano (2022). This month, the trio released their new album Bohemian Rhapsodies on Prospero Classical. The record features two masterpieces of Czech/Bohemian music – Smetana’s Piano Trio In G Minor, Op. 15 and Dvořák’s Piano Trio No. 4 In E Minor, Op. 90 “Dumky”. Stream and download the album here.
