Conductor Roberto González-Monjas debuts with Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg on Tuesday, 3 May at the Philharmonie Luxembourg Grand Auditorium. The programme features the works of Felix Mendelssohn, Iain Bell, Bellini,Gounod and Verdi. Tenor Rolando Villazón and mezzo-soprano Margarita Gritskova will also perform.

Forthcoming highlights include Roberto’s return to Spain to conduct the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León’s season closing concert with pianist Yeol Eum Son on the 24 June, in a programme including Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring and Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major. This follows an exuberant performance with Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León and violinist Hilary Hahn on the 28 April, which featured the works of Ravel, Sibelius and Lutoslawski.
