Shooting star soprano Hyesang Park thrilled the glittering a-list audience at the 2018 Met Gala. Ms Park performed a selection of songs by Mozart, Puccini, Duparc, Obradors, Gounoud. She wore a stunning gown by Giambattista Valli personally selected by Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief Dame Anna Wintour.

Hailed by The New York Times for her “bright, clear voice and impressive coloratura technique,” and by Le Devoir for a voice that is “sumptuous, of incredible magnitude,” South Korean soprano Hyesang Park is attracting the attention of opera houses and concert presenters worldwide. She is a member of the Metropolitan Opera’s prestigious Lindemann Young Artists Program.

Highlights of her 2017/18 season include her UK opera debut at the Glyndebourne Festival singing Najade in Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos, debut with Bayerische Staatsoper singing Despina in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, return to the Metropolitan Opera as both Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro and The Dew Fairy in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel.
