Following Martijn Dendievel’s successful debut last year at the helm of the WDR Sinfonieorchester and his winning of the German Conductors Award, the Belgian conductor is now pleased to return to Cologne on a last minute jump-in conducting Frank Martin’s Polyptique: 6 images de la Passion du Christ with violinist Josef Spacek, and Cesar Franck’s Symphony in D minor. The concert will take place at the WDR Funkhaus Hall today, (8 Sep) at 8PM. The concert will be broadcasted live on WDR3 and livestreamed on the WDR Sinfonieorchester Facebook page.

An exciting start to the new season, Dendievel’s upcoming highlights include concerts with the Philharmonie Zuidnederland (18 Sep), Belgian National Orchestra (30 Sep, 17 Oct), and Sinfonia Varsovia (7 Oct).
