The young Munich-based Korean violinist Ye-Eun Choi is stepping in for Julia Fischer to play Brahms Violin Concerto on Thursday, 17th May, with the Orchestre National de France under the baton of Riccardo Muti. The concert at Radio France – Radio House is sold out, but there will be a live broadcast on France Musique.
Following debuts with Jaap van Zweden and the Gyenggi Philharmonic Orchestra in March 2018, Mariss Jansons in Munich in November 2017, and Krzysztof Penderecki and the Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra in November 2017, this debut marks another major highlight in Choi’s 2017/18 season. She will round it off with another debut in July with Eiji Oue and the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra.
