Biography

In May 2023 spinto dramatic soprano Irina Moreva debuts as Manon in Puccini’s Manon Lescaut at Deutsche Oper Berlin. In June 2022, at the same opera house, made a very successful debut as Maddalena in Andrea Chenier.

Season 2022-23 starts with Abigail in Nabucco at both Teatro Massimo di Palermo and Opera de Lausanne.

Season 2019-20 started with a big success in Leonora’s role in Il trovatore at Teatro Verdi in Salerno. Later in November she debuted as Aida in new production at the Mikhailovsky Theater in Saint Petersburg.

International career of soprano Irina Moreva started with sensational debut as Amelia in Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera with Maestro Daniel Oren at The Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv in February 2019.

Her roles in Novaya Opera in Moscow, where she is principal soloists, include Nedda in Pagliacci, Micaela in Carmen, Salome in Herodiade (Massenet), Tatyana in Yevgeni Onegin, Iolanta, Yaroslavna in Prince Igor, Gorislava in Ruslan and Lyudmila, Zemfira in Aleko.

Studied with Professor Badri Maisuradze in Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Center in Moscow
