Manoj Kamps and Federico Colli Return to Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on 9 and 10 November 2023

Following a successful debut in 2021/22, Manoj Kamps returns to conduct the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in their regional series – 9 November at The Hexagon in Reading, and 10 November at Guildford G Live. The programme, which also marks a return of pianist Federico Colli with Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, opens with the Prelude to Act I of Wagner’s Lohengrin and follows with Brahms Symphony 2 in the second half.

Manoj Kamps’ recent highlights include Netherlands Radio Philharmonia at Holland Festival, a semi-staged tour of Cosi fan tutte with the Orchestra of the 18th Century, London Sinfonietta, Philharmonia Orchestra (Music of Today), and Rotterdam Philharmonic to whom Kamps will return in 2024. Other upcoming highlights include Kamps’ third production at Dutch National Opera and a long-awaited debut at La Monnaie Brussels.

Federico Colli’s recent and forthcoming highlights in the  2023/24 season include debuts with BBC Scottish Symphony, Orquesta Sinfónica de Euskadi, Württembergisches Kammerorchester, RTV Slovenian Radio SO and Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Federico returns to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Janacek Philharmonic Ostrava, Orchestra del Teatro Cominale di Bologna and I Pomeriggi Musicale in Milan, amongst others. He will also return to London’s Wigmore Hall in a recital, and make debuts with the Vancouver Recital Society, Steinway Society Bay Area Concert Series and at the Dubai Opera.
