The beloved film adaptation of one of Broadway’s most popular musicals, director Norman Jewison’s Fiddler on the Roof is a magnificent celebration of music, tradition, and the enduring power of the human spirit. Experience this iconic masterpiece as never before … with a full symphony orchestra performing John Williams’ Oscar®-winning adaptation of the musical score in sync with the film’s unforgettable imagery and original vocal performances!

A creation of acclaimed author Sholem Aleichem, Tevye (Topol) is a poor milkman from Anatevka, determined to find good husbands for his five daughters while trying to honor the traditions of his religion and community in a changing world.

Based on the 1964 musical that featured a score by composer Jerry Bock and lyricist Sheldon Harnick, a stage ploy by Joseph Stein, and an original Broadway production directed and choreographed by Jerome Robbins and produced on the New York stage by Harold Prince, Fiddler on the Roof – The Film with Orchestra is a joyous evening for the entire familyl

IMG Artists and PGM Productions are thrilled to welcome you to the first live-orchestra presentation of the much beloved film, The Music Man!

With the rhythm and drive of Meredith Willson’s wonderful score performed live to the original 1962 film, the iconic “76 Trombones” – already a knock-out experience by itself – bursts from the stage when accompanied by a full symphony orchestra!

Nominated for six Academy Awards – and winner of Best Musical Score! – this classic musical film follows con artist Harold Hill, who arrives in River City, Iowa, intending to swindle the town by selling them instruments and uniforms for a boys’ marching band he never intends to form. As he convinces everyone to buy into his scheme, he risks exposure by the local librarian, Marian Paroo. However, as Harold tries to win her over, he unexpectedly falls in love with her, and his deception evolves into a genuine desire to make a difference in the community.

With Robert Preston as the thrill-seeking music huckster, Shirley Jones as Marian, Buddy Hackett as the comic relief and many more, the film celebrates turn-of-the-century mid-western values and its music for the people.  The love story itself generates some wonderful songs: “Marian the Librarian”, “Gary, Indiana”, “The Wells Fargo Wagon”, “(Ya Got) Trouble” and “Shipoopi”. The list goes on of tunes that have thrilled audiences and The Music Man! fans around the world.  It is one of the best movie musicals ever made!
