Andrey Boreyko Conducts Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria and Royal Scottish National Orchestra

On Friday 01 December, Andrey Boreyko conducts a subscription concert with Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium. With soloist Pacho Flores performing Artunian’s Trumpet Concerto and Marquez’s Concierto de Otono in the first half, Zemlinsky’s masterpiece The Mermaid completes the programme. Elsewhere in Spain, Andrey has conducted Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia and Valencia Orchestra in recent seasons, and returns again in spring 2024 to conduct Orquesta Sinfónica de Radio Televisión Española (Spanish Radio RTVE) in Madrid. Following another superb return in 2021/22, Andrey conducts the Royal Scottish National Orchestra again next week with subscription concerts in Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on Friday 8 December, and Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall on Saturday 9 December. The programme features Victoria Vita Poleva’s Nova and André Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto (with Ilya Gringolts) in the first half, and Tchaikovsky’s festive Nutcracker Suite after the interval.  For more information, click here.

In addition to regular engagements as Music and Artistic Director of Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra and Resident Conductor of Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, Andrey Boreyko’s upcoming highlights include further subscription concerts with London Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Symphony, Vienna Radio (ORF), Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg, New Japan Philharmonic, Antwerp Symphony, Toscanini Orchestra Parma, Vancouver Symphony, Polish Radio Symphony, amongst others.
