Case Scaglione Debuts With RTVE Madrid and Bournemouth Symphony In February

Following a highly successful debut with Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León in May last year, Case Scaglione returns to Spain debuting with the RTVE Symphony Orchestra this Friday (4 Feb, 19:30) at Madrid’s Teatro Monumental. The repertoire features Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor Op.64, and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 7 in D minor Op.70. Tickets for the concert are available here.

Following on from his UK debut with the Royal Liverpool Orchestra at the start of the season, Case returns to the UK for a debut with the Bournemouth Symphony at Lighthouse, Poole Centre for the Arts on 9 Feb, 19:30 and Exeter University on 10 Feb, 19:30. The repertoire features Wagner’s Tannhäuser Overture, Beethoven ‘s Piano Concerto No.4 and Dvořák’s Symphony No.8. Pianist Federico Colli will also perform at both concerts. The Poole performance will be livestreamed on the Bournemouth Symphony’s website and Case will be interviewed at 18:30 before the performance. Supporters and members can watch the interview free of charge here.

Earlier in the season Case made his debut with the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester and with the Utah Symphony in the United States. Most recently Case also conducted a production of Der fliegende Holländer at the Opéra de Massy with the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France.

Upcoming is Case’s Spring debut with Opéra national de Paris conducting a production of Elektra.
