Baritone Daniel Luis De Vicente makes his debut at the Wiener Staatsoper as the title role of Verdi’s Simon Boccanegra, under the baton of Marco Armiliato on Thursday 11 April 2024. More information and tickets are available here.
Daniel’s recent debuts include at the Bayerische Staatsoper, in a last-minute jump in as Michele and Gianni Schicchi in Puccini’s Il Trittico. Currently engaged as the title role in Verdi’s Rigoletto at Oper Leipzig, as Nabucco for Slovak National Theatre and again as Michele and Gianni Schicchi in Il Trittico at Dutch National Opera and Ballet, Daniel is quickly establishing himself at an international level and gaining recognition for his fully scoped and thrilling interpretations of 19th and 20th century Italian repertoire.
