On Wednesday 15 May 2024, Elias Grandy makes his debut with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, conducting the orchestra in a programme of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20 in D Minor with soloist David Fray, and Brahms’ Symphony No. 1. More information and tickets are available here.
Grandy’s 2023/24 season highlights include return engagements to Frankfurt Radio Symphony, National Youth Orchestra of Germany and Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Tokyo, and debuts with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Orquesta Filarmonica de Buenos Aires and the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie SaarbrĂŒcken. In addition, he is the Robert-Schumann-Philharmonie Chemnitz’s Conductor In Residence for 2023/24, and appears frequently with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, whom he enjoys a close relationship with for many years.
