Fleming, Dinnerstein & Emerson String Quartet Reunite for West-Coast Premiere André Previn’s Penelope

Renée Fleming returns to the LA Opera stage this weekend, Saturday, June 10, in an exciting evening featuring André Previn’s Penelope, written by the late composer for her and the Emerson String Quartet, along with songs by Grieg, Fauré, Puts, Glass, Hermann, Kern, and Previn. Simone Dinnerstein joins them on piano and Merle Dandridge is the narrator. The evening also marks the Emerson Quartet’s final appearance in Los Angeles as they continue forward with their Farewell Tour. The full program is below:
