Manoj Kamps returns to conduct their third production at Dutch National Opera – the world premiere of Ellen Reid’s The Shell Trial, a co-production with Het Geluid Maastricht, Opera Philadelphia and Bregenz Festival, featuring an ensemble of players from the Concertgebouw Orchestra in the pit. The production opens in 16 March 2024, with subsequent performances on 18, 19, 21 March 2024. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets.
Recent highlights include Manoj’s return to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (Brahms Symphony 2), and debuts with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra at the Holland Festival and Rotterdam Philharmonic (with an upcoming return later this year). With the period Orchestra of the 18th Century, Manoj toured a semi-staged production of Cosi fan tutte (director: Lisenka Heijboer Castañón) across The Netherlands and Belgium, including major venues such as the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and Rotterdam De Doelen.
Upcoming plans include Manoj’s debut with Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Bregenz Festival, and the La Monnaie opera house in Brussels.
