Pablo González Conducts Debut with Hamburg Symphony and Return Visit to Royal Philharmonic Orchestra In February

Following a highly successful debut with Bochumer Symphoniker in 2020, Pablo González returns to Germany for his debut with Hamburg Symphony on the 10 and 14 Feb, performing Lalo’s Symphony Espagnole op. 21 and Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 73. The concert on the 10 Feb will be performed at the Laeiszhalle Hamburg, tickets are available here. Later this month, Pablo returns to the UK for another collaboration with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for a series of concerts at Cadogan Hall (24 Feb), The Hawth, Crawley (25 Feb), and The Hexagon, Reading on (26 Feb). The repertoire features Glinka’s Ruslan and Ludmilla: Overture and Tchaikovsky’s  Symphony No.6, ‘Pathétique’. The performance on the 24 will also feature Glière’s Harp Concerto with harpist Suzy Willison-Kawalec, and the 25 and 26 Feb performances will feature Bruch’s Violin Concerto No.1 with violinist Ellinor D’Melon. Most recently Pablo returned to conduct Stavanger Symphony and Helsinki Philharmonic, both of which led to instant re-invitations. Future season highlights include return visits with the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, Orquesta Nacional de España and Musikkollegium Winterthur. In his current role as Principal Conductor of the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra (RTVE) and Artistic Adviser to the Orchestra and Choir, Pablo appears regularly at Madrid’s Teatro Monumental.
