Pianist Zee Zee’s Z+ Music Festival Staged its Inaugural Edition with Great Success

Between 12-21 April 2024, the inaugural edition of the Z+ Music Festival took place at the Shanghai Symphony Concert Hall in China, establishing itself as one of the biggest international chamber music festivals in Asia.

The artists line-up featured many worlwide acclaimed musicians, including violinists Clara Jumi Kang, Ning Feng and Esther Yoo, violists Yura Lee and Lise Berthaud, cellists Julian Steckel and Andrei Ionita, pianists Haochen Zhang, Sunwook Kim, Louis Schwizgebel and Zee Zee, guitarist Xuefei Yang, bass-baritone Shenyang, mezzo soprano Huiling Zhu, Diotima Quartet, as well as musicians of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and conductor Zhang Lu.

The Founder and Artistic Director, pianist Zee Zee said, “For me, chamber music is the most essential form of music, it has many of the best repertoires in music history, it shares the spiritual of sharing, collaborating, and mutually inspiring and it needs to be heard more. The main mission of this festival is to bring the greatest musicians, top-level performances,  inspiration, and joy to our audiences in Shanghai and (through the media) all around the world.”

The festival’s opening concert, Tribute to Gabriel Fauré concert, and season finale concert are now available to stream.
