“Hailing from Turkey, Deniz Leone, appearing on Europe’s leading stages (from his homeland to Vilnius, Athens, to the Italian theatres of Venice, Genoa, Trieste, Catania, etc.), proved that with the colour of his material, his bel canto technique, his stunning sustained pitches and his intoxicating phrases, he is the ideal Percy. It was a great stroke of luck to acquire this brilliant lirico-spinto tenor.”
