ABOUT

TRADITION … !!

The beloved film adaptation of one of Broadway’s most popular musicals, director Norman Jewison’s Fiddler on the Roof is a magnificent celebration of music, tradition, and the enduring power of the human spirit. Experience this iconic masterpiece as never before … with a full symphony orchestra performing John Williams’ Oscar®-winning adaptation of the musical score in sync with the film’s unforgettable imagery and original vocal performances!

A creation of acclaimed author Sholem Aleichem, Tevye (Topol) is a poor milkman from Anatevka, determined to find good husbands for his five daughters while trying to honor the traditions of his religion and community in a changing world.

Based on the 1964 musical that featured a score by composer Jerry Bock and lyricist Sheldon Harnick, a stage ploy by Joseph Stein, and an original Broadway production directed and choreographed by Jerome Robbins and produced on the New York stage by Harold Prince, Fiddler on the Roof – The Film with Orchestra is a joyous evening for the entire family!

This film has been edited for live concert presentation.
