Manoj Kamps embarks on a 7-concert tour of Così fan tutte with the period orchestra, the Orchestra of the 18th Century. With the cast featuring singers Katharine Dain, Josy Santos, Claron McFadden, Linard Vrielink, Drew Santini, and Henk Neven, Così fan tutte will be performed semi-staged, directed by Lisenka Heijboer Castañón with whom Kamps collaborates regularly since their initial project together for Dutch National Opera in 2020. The extensive tour opens in Brugge on 6 October, and tours across the major halls in The Netherlands:

Following superb debuts with Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Kamps returns to both this season with Brahms Symphony 2 coming up in the RPO’s regional series this autumn. Other recent highlights include contemporary programmes with Netherlands Radio Philharmonic at Holland Festival, London Sinfonietta, and Philharmonia Orchestra as part of Southbank Centre’s Soundstate Festival. In the opera world, Kamps returns to Dutch National Opera for their third production there in spring 2024 – this time, the world premiere of Ellen Reid’s The Shell Trial (co-produced with Bregenz Festival and Opera Philadelphia) which will feature an ensemble from the Concertgebouw Orchestra in the pit.
