IMG Artists Welcomes Ben Brady and Elisa Sunshine to Our Roster for General Management

23 Jan 2024

IMG Artists is delighted to welcome bass-baritone Ben Brady and soprano Elisa Sunshine to its roster for general management. They will be represented by Artist Manager Devere Burnett.

Mr. Brady received his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan. Recent achievements include being a semi-finalist in the 2020 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, first place in the 2021 CS Music Online Competition in the Emerging Professional division, and a finalist in the 2023 Irene Dalis Vocal Competition with Opera San José.

In the 2023/24 season, Mr. Brady joined the Metropolitan Opera for the workshop of Mason Bates’ new opera: The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay (Sheldon Anapol). Last summer, Mr. Brady was seen in Pelléas et Mélisande (Arkel/the Physician) and Tosca (Sciarrone) at the Santa Fe Opera. He then went on to Dayton Opera for Sweeney Todd (Judge Turpin) and performed the bass soloist in Handel’s Messiah with both Dayton Opera and the Pacific Chamber Orchestra. Upcoming, he joins North Carolina Opera for Il barbiere di Siviglia (Bartolo) and Palm Beach Opera for both Les contes d’Hoffmann (Luther, Crespel, and covering the 4 villains) and Norma (covering Oroveso).

Celebrated by the San Francisco Chronicle for her “blend of vocal sparkle and theatrical charisma,” California native Elisa Sunshine is a newly minted graduate of San Francisco Opera’s Adler Fellowship Program who brings the immediacy of the human experience to life through vocal acrobatics and theatrical dynamism.

In the 2023/24 season, Ms. Sunshine joined the Lyric Opera of Chicago to cover Marie in La fille du régiment. This summer, she joins the Santa Fe Opera’s Apprentice Program where she sings Annina in La Traviata and covers Sheila in the world premiere of Gregory Spears’ The Righteous. She returned to San Francisco Opera during the centennial season celebration in Die Frau ohne Schatten (Servant 1, Unborn Child 1, and cover of Voice of the Falcon), conducted by Sir Donald Runnicles. In competition, she represented the United States as a participant in the 2023 Queen Sonja Singing Competition in Norway and is a finalist in The Dallas Opera National Vocal Competition.
