IMG Artists Welcomes Violinist Blake Pouliot to its Roster

IMG Artists is delighted to welcome violinist Blake Pouliot to its roster for management in the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. He will be represented by Beverley Vong and Naomi Ives from IMGA’s London office.

Pouliot studied violin in Canada with Marie Bérard and Erika Raum, and he completed his training as an associate of The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. He graduated from the Colburn School Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Robert Lipsett, the Jascha Heifetz Distinguished Violin Chair.

Since his orchestral debut at age 11, Pouliot has performed with the orchestras of Aspen, Atlanta, Detroit, Dallas, Madison, Montreal, Toronto, San Francisco, and Seattle, among many. Internationally, he has performed as soloist with the Sofia Philharmonic in Bulgaria, Orchestras of the Americas on its South American tour, and was the featured soloist for the first ever joint tour of the European Union Youth Orchestra and National Youth Orchestra of Canada. He has collaborated with many musical luminaries including conductors Sir Neville Marriner, David Afkham, Pablo Heras-Casado, David Danzmayr, JoAnn Falletta, Marcelo Lehninger, Nicholas McGegan, Alexander Prior, Vasily Petrenko and Thomas Søndergård.

Blake said, “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the IMG Artists roster. It’s an honour to be added to such an illustrious network of artists and artist management. I am looking forward to further developing my international presence with the guidance of such a renowned agency, and the opportunity to reach and perform for new audiences. I am also ecstatic to be working with Naomi and Beverley. Their integrity and vast knowledge of the industry are unparalleled and I’m thrilled to be partnering together.”

Beverley said, “I am delighted to begin working with Blake and Naomi. Blake is such a wonderful musician, in every respect, and I cannot wait to see what exciting developments await him!”

Naomi said, “We are thrilled that Blake has joined the roster.  He has such a magnetic presence onstage and I knew immediately when I first saw him perform that his talent and musicality is something very rare and special.  Blake is also great fun and I can’t wait for us to be working together.”
